Coffee County Middle School officially welcomes the incoming 6th graders.
Coffee County Middle School officially welcomed their incoming 6th graders with a free Tailgate Party in front of the school.  The event was held after school on Monday, August 13th.  The menu consisted of BBQ hotdogs, chips, desert, an assortment of drinks, and snow-cones.  The school principal, Mrs. Kim Aaron, gave opening remarks.  Mr. Jason McDonough DJ'd the event and drew names out to give prizes.  Over 200 students and families ate, socialized, and put on "Go Team" temporary tattoos.  6th grade students then got free entry into either a home soccer game or volleyball game.  Thank you to the positive behavior support team, all the staff members and students that volunteered to help set up the event, and the families that donated food for the event.  Congratulations to the new CCMS 6th graders!  You have made it to middle school!  Keep up the hard work.
