Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies- Middle Tennessee State University

Grand Canyon University- Masters in Teaching Leadership

I am currently in my twelfth year of teaching. I spent my first year teaching 7th grade in Grundy County, TN and have been at Coffee County Middle School for the past ten years.

I grew up in Macon County, TN. I attended college at MTSU and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Interdisciplinary Studies). I later attended Grand Canyon University and obtained a Master’s in Teaching Leadership. I am in my twelfth year of teaching.  I am also sponsor of the CCMS Beta Club.

My husband, Justin, and I live in Tullahoma. We have four children: Clayton is 14, Laiken is 9, and Cale is 6, and Luke Henry is 2. Many of our days are spent at the ball field as both of our older boys play baseball. My daughter does competitive cheerleading, and my husband races dirt cars. We are often very busy and on the go. I have always enjoyed seeing children learn and grow. This is part of the reason that I chose to become a teacher. It isn’t just a profession; it’s a calling. I'm proud to have the opportunity to impact so many  young lives.
