4-H
4-H encourages diverse groups of youth in grades 4 through 12 to develop their unique skills and talents to the fullest potential. Young people participate in 4-H through clubs, special interest groups, camps and other activities. "Learning by doing" through hands-on activities and community involvement empowers these 4-Hers to develop and strengthen life skills.
CCMS students in 6th grade participate in 4-H during the school day. The meetings occur during Social Studies classes. Meetings are led by the Coffee County UT/TSU 4-H Extension Agents as well as the officers elected in each classroom. Students have the opportunity to participate in various activities and contests.
