I was born and raised in Winchester, Tennessee where I live now with my husband and son.  I have two grown stepchildren.  I earned my associate's degree from Motlow State Community College, and i earned my bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.  I started my teaching Career at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  I taught 2nd grade at Decherd Elementary in Decherd, Tennessee.  I now teach 7th grade ELA at CCMS, and it is, by far, my favorite teaching position.   I look forward to the upcoming year!
